This series explored the link between the piano and humour and featured clips from such performers as Gracie Fields, The Western Brothers, Ronald Frankau, Stanley Holloway, Max Miller, Tom Lehrer, Peter Sellers, Flanders and Swann, Lonnie Donegan, Spike Jones, Noel Coward and Liberace. The whole was brought together by Neil Innes, who also gave renditions of many of his own sings.
