What would you do if you won 38 million Euros in a lottery? Acclaimed actress Amanda Redman stars as Alison Braithwaite, who faces this dilemma while her entire family lurches from one crisis to the next. Written by Sally Wainwright, this unusual and popular comedy drama series was an ITV ratings winner when it was first broadcast in 2000. The series also stars Peter Davison as Alison's husband David, Lynda Bellingham and Sylvia Syms in this emotional roller-coaster of a series which won the TV Quick Award 2000 for Best New Drama and well as being nominated for a further eight accolades.
